Munster or Cleary ?

How do you compare the two halfbacks

me personally I prefer Cleary. I think he will be even better in the future. But so is Munster unless grog ruins him.
if you could buy one of those two. Who would it be

  • Depending on your teams needs, Cleary is more of an organizer and would be more valuable on the open market

  • Munster for me he is unpredictable while Cleary is Predictable. We don't need predictable we already have enough.

  • As chief stated it depends on who your other half is but cleary is the more valuable player and is far more consistent than Munster, with Munster you get wow plays that you don't with cleary.

If I was starting a team from scratch I would take cleary without hesitation.

    • That's what's unique about the storm, Hughes, Paps and Munster are all fullbacks

    • I think he meant half's not halfbacks.

    • Gutherson isn't a centre. He's a fullback and maybe a number 9

  • Munster is a 5/8 not a halfback.

Dyl will be every bit as good as Munster by the time he reaches his age so we don't need Munster.

Cleary is the best halfback in the game but Moses is in the top 3 so happy to keep him.

    • Coryn and you a right Bem... someone obviously told Grunta at the funny farm that's what happens when you change what we now know is a very good spine.

Why would/should change that when we have obviously issues in the centres, wings and edges (post this season)....

Pereham at full back is average, he hardly cuts them up in Reserve Grade and whilst he is handy, he is not good enough, fast enough or tough enough, go back to planting "spuds" Grunts.

"De Belin's age is not too much of an issue since he had 2 years off due to his court case. So his body is not as worn down. He will be 35, which is old for a starting middle but again, he has 2 years less of wear and tear on his body. Plus i reckon…"

"Erin Clarke isn't underutilised. He was top 20 for tackles in the NRL last year, and sixth for post contact metres. I agree Williams was underutilised at Cronulla."
