Chiefy, if Sarantinos has been at the Eels since 2016 and O'Neil since 2018, can you tell us how that adds up to "46 years of failures under Sarantinos and O'Neil"?
Oh i was more so saying it is not overly important, hence my admission of only one title in the 80's. As you said it is not overly important. It is an oddly placed competition. Those who are great are either in NRL or NSW Cup by the time they are 19/20. Same with 21.
Look at our current NSW Cup team and NRL team. Here is who is eligible for Flegg.
Da Silva 21
Tuivaiti 21
Alamaddine 21
Vaivela 21
Talataina 20
Lokeni 21
Funa-Iuta 20
Talagi 19
Visconti 21
Beattie 21
Penisini 21
Fletcher 19
Either in NRL, NSW Cup or injured. I mean that is a lot. As i said before, out of Matts, Ball, NSW cup and NRL, Flegg is probably dead last in importance. The only benefit of it is for kids coming out of Ball to get some good footy under their belt against older players. Once good enough they move to Cup anyway.
Talagi has done that. Petrus has as well, Koina will be next. It is a place holder comp if anything. It is a good league for 18 year olds who show promise to play against stronger competition. Though as soon as it becomes easier, they are into Cup for their proper development.
Gone of the days of Holden Cup where players would skip NSW Cup into NRL. It still happens but is quite rare compared to the Holden Cup days where it was more frequent.
"Agreed with LB and Captain. Ideally the team doesn't fall are when our best player is selected for rep games, and ideally not is he injured.
I am reminded of every footy head on the footy talk shows who talk about players that govt their team-mates…"
Moses at this point in his career should make rep footy his priority its the only chance of winning anything he has a few more years with us and his premiership window is definitely shut."

Enquiring mathematicians want to know.
Shhhh Daz let him go, it is comedy gold.
But LB I want Chiefy to articulate the premises. Because that's kinda like helping the comedy routine achieve its true glory?!
Add the years of failure from every team Einstein
Mind you, we only won 1 Flegg title in the 80's. Only 3 overall; 1970, 1985 and 1990.
JF is the least important comp to win. It's just a fill in comp. Best players of JF are in nrl or cup
