I'd rather Savala, you only have to look back before Savala while Smith was playing roosters were crap enter Svala and their playing 100% better because Savala leads them around the park, haas more skills and a lot better player than Smith.

The thing that makes me like Smith is that he is a genuine half or 5/8. They are becoming rare beasts these days.
If Smith comes in and play's 5/8 for the hole that Dylan leaves, it works. If Moses gets injured (no surprises there) then Smith plays half at a similar level to Moses. Due respect to Hawkins, he is not in the same league as Smith.
In a 20 metre sprint Smith leaves Hawkins 5 metres behind. Speed and guile is the essence now.
Savala was kept in the team for his kicking.
We don't need anyone to lead us around the park, we have Moses.
What we need is someone that compliments Moses' game and can run and supports well - that's Sandon Smith to a tee.

So Daley said he got scans, not sure how serious but short turnaround meant he had to be ruled out. I think he does play v Gold Coast.
