Moses gone Calf.

Put him in cotton wool until Vegas ffs

How much can an Eels fan take

He should hang the boots up on all rep football.

Calf again,  similar soft tissue injuries only allowing him to play less than half a season.  Moses needs to make the call and support the club which pays him 1.5 mil. Thats it. Ive had it

    • If we were to pull the pin on Moses, who do you target firstly and will you be able to get them. How many top quality Halfbacks hit the market and actually leave? Not many. The ones that do mostly go to great teams to win a comp.

Our best bet might be trying to see if Fletcher has the goods or buying a top rookie Halfback elsewhere.

  • Yet we all heard the news about club objecting to Junior playing for Samoa only! He has to still get thru but we all knew this Moses injury was highly likely :(

has there ever been a time in recent years where Moses has not had ongoing injuries from any rep duties; clearly, he must see that too and give it a rest now.

thank goodness the club re-signed Volkman thats at least one covered. God knows what happens if luai doesn't come out untouched :(

  • Now being reported the scans are looking at the fibula. Possible small break. That would mean it's an impact injury and not soft tissue.

    • Would rather that. From my experience and those i speak to, they say bone breaks they would rather as their recovery is more predictable.

I mean look, he was not going to come into pre-season til January anyway, even then he would be doing light work. Forming a better combo with Luai in pre-season would be great but they at least have some familiarisation. So it doesn't set him or team back as much.

      • Its a blessing in disguise really, he doesn't play any more games in this tournament and gets a few weeks rest from what's been a busy last couple of years.

      • All I can say is thank christ we have Luai.  Looks to be another year where Moses will not be back until about  5 rounds before Origin.

I refuse to believe that Moses was 100% fit and feeling dandy going into this stupid exhibition tournament.  This dude will never put his Parramatta contract before representative money.

Last time Moses had one of these small breaks it kept him out for an eternity if I'm correct ?  The foot thing ?  24 and 25 his foot cost us what 16 - 20 weeks all up of gametime ? Not inclusive of pre season missed.

    • Papali'i stood on it and Moses was limping straight after it.

    • Hugh grade muscle tear per Fox Sports. Out of tournament

      • Not the calf it's some other leg muscle connected to his shin. Rare injury apparently
