Yes - but that is the issue re the cap space that he occupies. Arthur modelled a game plan for years based around aggressive forwards hitting the impactful line followed by a monstrous kick to control field position. This got us to a grand final but the game has developed since then and teams have had to adapt. Moses is paid massive money to organise the attack and move the team around and exploit weaknesses when they eventuate ( an injury to key opposition player or a sin binned opponent). This is the issue - he can't seem to nail that heads up footy that is then required. The solution - Moses should play like DCE did in 2026 for the Roosters and the Eels desperately need an organising half. Deardon showed in the second half last night how it is done.
I think more so the game plan changed once Deardon came on. At the start Moses was parked one side, Munster the other and Grant controlling the middle.

I have said for a long time that Moses playing for Australia with Munster on one side and Grant in the middle that he will only be allowed to kick. Its Moses fault by the way, he is not assertive enough in these games. Swampy's assesment above is pretty spot on, as is Pou's.
I wrote on Chiefy's post that unfortunately, we may have seen the best of Moses and are unlikely to see the speed machine we all loved in the past.
"Frustrating to say the least and I heard it was calf? Lets hope he is back for some pre-season and that the injury is not long lasting.
My concern is two fold - when I watched the game Moses for me was only kicking etc and Munster and Grant seemed…"
"I get the feeling most Eels fans only really want Moses to do everything in his power to stay on the paddock for Parramatta .
People ranting and raving like that is an unfair request . Its quite amusing considering people who'll bore us here to…"
"Pops the only thing Moses will do less of is run 50-60 metres for tries like he's done in his mid to late 20s those days I agree will be behind him.We have to look after this guy.
Onething I really dislike about his last 3-4 years is how much he's…"

Yeo also in the middle.
Did I hear right on SEN, suspected broken bone for Moses?
Wouldn't that be better than a soft tissue injury which are uselessly ongoing. A small fracture would be a better result
Not necessarily, if its a small bone in the foot it could take many months to heal and can easily re-break.
Sounds like maybe a hairline fracture side of leg, 3/4 weeks but definitely not playing for Aus again
Walters said upper leg.
Tried to play through it to, sounds like a hairline fracture but he safely pulled the plug early lol
