  • Dont you remember 2010 ?
  • It would be safe to say that if that were to happen we would have the worst half combo in the comp.
Robson is a good back up half to have nothing more, i like the guy but his ability is very minimal.
Mortimer ???? he knows.Another year like last year and he's gone.
  • um isnt it obvious?????

because they cant create or score any points as a pairing
  • Of late, Robson and Mortimer have become hot topics at the Eels club.
We all know that they do have the potential to perform, but it's clear that they didn't do that in 2010.

For them, they will know that they had a poor year last year, and they will endeavor to ensure that they improve on last year, and there's no reason as to why that don't deserve a chance to redeem themselves, and thus earn a spot in the starting line-up.
  • brilliant !!! lol
  • The reason Daniel Mortimer has a name for himself is because of his father and uncles. They were good players in a different era. Back when little blokes could mix it up with the bigger players. Daniel Mortimer is way too small for NRL and until he can bulk or something he can have all the skill in the world (which he doesn't) and still he won't make it in the big leagues.

I think he was underdone when Anderson brought him in. We overpaid hime because the dogs wanted him, we have to accept that now and send him back to NSW cup for a year or two.
  • LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
  • What the hell are you talking about? Did you watch any of 2009? He clearly has talent, he clearly does not need to bulk up and he quite obviously deserved his new salary after the year he had in 2009.
  • No if we dont get anybody put Murray in there
  • mortimer will be fine if he had thurston or cronk there - that would be a top combination!!

all these people talking murray up - pplleeaassee, the guy has not even played first grade and you want him to lead a team at halfback at his age over a full NRL season - seriously some people have no idea! the club knows it too - why do you think they are doing whatever it takes to get either thurston or cronk, because they know we need someone established and experienced!

murray is back up only and he can learn under a top halfback

"Surely Fa'alogo to Fullback if this is the case. Munster isn't as a good a fullback as Fa'alogo. Pezet isn't as good a 5/8 as Munster. Melbourne don't seem the type of team to weaken two positions to fill one spot.

"Also Sua almost as talented as Pezet if not more. This would be so fucking silly. They'll lose Munster (2027), then Sua, so I can't see them doing this at all. "
