Mitchell Moses Club Games

According to Dr. Google 😂 Mitchell Moses has played the following amount of Club Games for Parra. Quote:

Mitchell Moses has missed a total of 41 club games for the Parramatta Eels over the past three years (2023 to June 2026) due to a combination of injuries and State of Origin commitments." That equates to about missing 57% of games over the past 3 years. In comparison Nathan Cleary has missed 26 club games over the past 3 years at a percentage of 36%

In comparison to half backs who have played the most for their respective clubs they are: Adam Reynolds, Chery Evans and Jerome Hughes despite obvious injuries. Reynolds has played 76, Evans 76 and Hughes 75

            • For Origin 2 my friend. If he's ruled of his game against the Dogs which he was supposedly on medical advice as he wasn't 100% then I find it highly unlikely that he's going to be 100% ready to go for Origin 2 because even though it's 9 days later he has to be cleared before the 9 days so if he's not 100% it gives his replacement time to fit in before the game.

        • Moses did not forego Dogs for Origin. He needed a week. Unless you're claiming the coach and med staff lied?

And recruiting stars yet complaining when, you know, they're stars, are completely connected. If someone who A) thinks Moses should skip Origin, but B) also denies saying the club can't recruit stars, fair enough, they will then follow the following implication. If the club becomes known for 'A', how will that impact the club ever recruiting stars ('B')?

          • 2 nd last 40 years ..... no point responding..... like bashing your head against the wall 🤯  keep defending the status quo Dez ..... honestly 🤷🏾‍♂️

            • Parra G, you're not answering the question. What is the likely effect of pulling Eels players from Rep honours? And what evidence exists that Moses chose Origin over Dogs?

  • Moses has played 55% of games 2023-25 (19/24 in 2023, 8/24 in 2024, 13/24 in 2025). He played 100% of Eels games in 2022, 88% in 2021, 95% in 2020, 100% in 2019, 92% in 2018 and 100% in 2017 (mid season signing).

Why cherry picking 2024-2025 if ranking by other halves? He played the opening 10 games of 2026 and has now missed 3 but would have played vs Raiders if not for SOO2 (or 77% excluding Origin).

The contradiction between "can't stand the club doesn't have enough rep stars" of the retention and recruitment experts and "how dare Moses play rep games" is glaring!

    • Not sure it's the same people holding both arguments is it Daz?

FWIW I would adore if our entire first grade side was called up for Rep duty. I'd be super happy to play terribly for a few rounds a year and be invincible for the rest.

Worked well for the Storm and Panthers for many years.

      • rite , my captan .  like my secnd husban .     he wear differen shoe on two feet same tim, n  i never talk to the same people with him twice,   awayz skip the secon

      • Captain, my bet is many of the retention and recruitment experts are arguing both.

But let's say I am wrong. Hence, above, I suggested those arguing Moses should be pulled from Origin by the club or himself might want to explain how that kind of exclusion from Rep honours could ever build a culture other players want to come play for?

    • From 2023-25 Moses played 48.8% Over these 3 seasons he made 39 appearances out of a possible 80 regular season matches. In 2023: 19 appearances from 24 games ( 79.2%) In 2024 - 8 appearances from 24 games (33.3%) and in 2025 : 12 appearances from 32 games (37.5%). It seems over the years his injuries have become more frequent and more serious which has caused him to miss more games and obviously as we age it tends to get worse as our body doesn't heal as fast

      • Mallee, there were not 32 games in 2025 so how does Moses  - who played 13/24 games in 2025 - miss the 20/32 you have him missing in 2025?
