Mitchell Moses Club Games

According to Dr. Google 😂 Mitchell Moses has played the following amount of Club Games for Parra. Quote:

Mitchell Moses has missed a total of 41 club games for the Parramatta Eels over the past three years (2023 to June 2026) due to a combination of injuries and State of Origin commitments." That equates to about missing 57% of games over the past 3 years. In comparison Nathan Cleary has missed 26 club games over the past 3 years at a percentage of 36%

In comparison to half backs who have played the most for their respective clubs they are: Adam Reynolds, Chery Evans and Jerome Hughes despite obvious injuries. Reynolds has played 76, Evans 76 and Hughes 75

          • Bulldogs can't make the 8 but Critta still played for Dogs

            • And Critta is 7 years younger than Moses. Moses is at the end of his career. NRL players have limited years to make the most money possible to set up their future for themselves and their families. Critta played game one injured and left the dogs high and dry in a more important game. Your logic is ridiculous.

              • It's not ridiculous at all. Age in some instances does affect all players. Look at Adam Reynolds and Cherry Evan's who have both played Origin both succumbed to injuries and both older than Moses. Evan's is 37 and Reynolds is 35. Yet both have a higher percentage of club games over the past 3 years. Admittedly Crichton is younger at 25. Yes Moses is at the end of his career which is why ( in my opinion) he should focus more on club games to hopefully break the 40 year drought as wasn't that the main reason he was purchased to help Parra not the Blues

            • Mallee, you bring up Critta again but the difference shoulder and hamstring was addressed, so why wrote as if wasn't? Do you have evidence the Dogs thought Critta's shoulder warranted not playing?

          • Cool your heals Gucci again last I'll respond .... so yep granted it is a business and Money is the ultimate goal because careers are short and that's they way the game is now
but what is the value proposition for Parra ?

At this stage he is too injury prone and my position is Parra needs a lot more return on investment

as it stands we are second last and 40 years without a premiership... but I gather with your aggressive tone you are quite happy with that !
who gives a shit season is gone right geez ..... ffs no wonder we are lost with this mentality in the fan base 🤯🤯

        • Right, and what can we do? We cannot force Moses to not play. We actually cannot.

Also, can everybody, including yourself, stop this rubbish that he sat out of Dogs match for Origin. He was told no from doctors, then that was on Ryles to make the call. It wasn't Ryles wanted him to play and Moses "yeah I'm all good" really think Moses, a competitor, someone who argues with refs over the tiniest things to win games would choose to sit out if he is sweet to go?

Also, individual over team, despite playing all year with groin issues. Played with a back issue in 2021. Like seriously, what a stupid statement.

        • I seriously don't see how he's going to be cleared to be 100% injury free to play Origin 2 when he wasn't cleared to play against the Bulldogs even with the extra 9 days and I think he has to be cleared before the extra 9 days so if he doesn't pass then his replacement has time to train in the 6 position. Surely they won't risk putting Moses in Origin if not 100%

          • Did you just counter argue your own point here? You can't see Moses being fit enough to play but then you say surely he has to be at 100% to be picked...

        • Moses did not forego Dogs for Origin. He needed a week. Unless you're claiming the coach and med staff lied?

And recruiting stars yet complaining when, you know, they're stars, are completely connected. If someone who A) thinks Moses should skip Origin, but B) also denies saying the club can't recruit stars, fair enough, they will then follow the following implication. If the club becomes known for 'A', how will that impact the club ever recruiting stars ('B')?

          • 2 nd last 40 years ..... no point responding..... like bashing your head against the wall 🤯  keep defending the status quo Dez ..... honestly 🤷🏾‍♂️
