Bulldogs have pulled out of the race for Metcalf and his asking price is around 1 million dollars. Dragons most likely spot but to get him immediately I wonder if this means they will allow Sua to join us early to free up cap space to get Metcalf immediately. Just seems logical

Chiefy dont bother giving suggestions the opposing view are not providing ANY and are happy as it stands and intellectualise/insult our position and or suggestions.
Fairplay to you for at least trying to come up with alternatives.
It appears the voices on this blog who hold the sites views have more of a platform then we do and we should just STFU.
Its a shame as we all want the team to do better and be successful
No the shame is PG that people that want to intellectualise a problem can be seen to be able to do so by wanting the team (read club)to do better and be successful, just like you do. Accepting that is a starting point because we all have that in common, Mallee aside because he is representing some other club.
Can you not see the pain and anguish we all have over Parramatta being more succesful than they currently are.
My experience is that running around like a chook with his head cut off, is a bloodletting experience but not adding anything to the formula's of success.....that is why forums like our's address and debate the issues. Getting everyone to see what you guys see is not going to solve your problems. It may make you feel better, a bit like hitting your head against a wall, it doesn't hurt as much when you stop.
The alternative views are not either, we accept that....first thing you need to do and you will be surprised ( being the arrogant prick as I seem to be)....never go into a room thinking you are the smartest one in there, there is always someone smarter, ....just walk in and ask questions to help you rationalise what ever issues are being discussed. In many discussions I take a contrarian view so I can understand the issues from all angles, doesn't mean my view's are right, just able to understand different aspects.
Point of the exercise is walkout smarter, not the smartest!
Daz, is your name really Prof Mark? (you can tell me I'm reeely good at secrets)
Randy, we are on good terms but that will change if you persist with silly remarks about my identity. Deal with my counter-argument to scapegoating directly, not via absurd insinuations. I thought we were on the same page about 'arguments' in general: they should be well-grounded not spurious
Are we agreed? A quick mea culpa will suffice
It was an absurd insinuation...I'm glad you picked that up. It was even multi-level absurd (MON a professor LOLOLOL). I was using absurdity to point out that your comments were universally in support of him, just like he would himself...yet you go and get your panties in a twist about it like I was seriously saying you were Mark...I thought we were on good terms, on the same page...then you wanna go get all literal on me, then tell me how I need to argue for you to be Happy.
We are not agreed and "OhNo Ruh-Roh" will have to suffice
Randy, I don't make speculative remarks about your identity. For a reason. Which it's odd that you would feign innocence about, given you've seen how I can get trolled on this site. I think you're now hiding behind "just joshing" rather than blank say yeah not cool sorry.
I'll spell it out for you. Not appreciated. If you don't like my critique of scapegoating, critique my critique of scapegoating, rather than dropping into identity trolling.
Get the sand out of your vagina. Are you Mark? No. I thought that was obvious as even you called it absurd. I was an ironic question not an insinuation. You could've just said No but you want to take offense. Are you low on victim fuel since 1EE lopped off it's right wing? Don't be so precious, precious.
Daz in all respect you solely blame Ando for that? I think it was also about the head of the board too.....and tbh it was 10 yrs back; and he has worked with some decent clubs (Easts). But fair enough.....
Mitchy, thanks for making my point for me! Of course Anderson was part of a system that wasn't working. He was definitely accountable even if not solely responsible.
But that has been my point about scapegoating. Hence why I was surprised Chiefy offered Anderson as a model for a next GM. I was alluding to the absurdity of where scapegoating can lead: a little unhinged 'isolation' of one (MON in this case) breeds an idea of a single change will fix everything. Once the premise of that pseudo fix is accepted - it's all this one bad actor - saviors get offered up who are actually not assessed credibly. I mean just look at the Libs and One Nation attempt to link the housing affordability crisis to immigrants. Scapegoating non-whites won't addressing housing costs. Making speculating on housing the savior just free it from scrutiny. Scapegoating is always bad policy
But this has been my point. We won't get productive change out of scapegoating. We will only get knee jerk savior complex decisions.
Daz, I agree about the premise of your comment and will not comment on the political side for good reason; but suffice to say champ each to their own. I could debate with you all day.
Ando for recruitment would be fine for me as he has been in the system and knows his stuff and he is ex parra which is good; the salary cap drama was years back and in all honesty I would 'assyme' the current board would be hesitant to bring him back.
I have been harping on for a while now, the club should have looked at M Cameron (again ex Parra) to oversee things. He has grown in lengths from being a jr coach.
