How much is Mitch to blame in this?
That's where club had to stand up and protect him from himself, players will just play until they break. We have poor leadership at the top and that's been pointed out lol
Ahhh but I bet the fact he was selected and injured at training he still gets paid for NSW game 2...
Think he is dumb?
It's all his fault, the greedy kent. Simple don't put the club and NSW in a hard place, should have ruled himself out.
Exactly he can say no
Cmon Mitch 8 games in 2 years ....stop playing for yourself..
I don't blame him, club just has no spine. He's hardly played 4-5 games of nrl straight in years. Prob since 2022
Broken foot, straight into origin and tears bicep. Then goes to Australia comes back foot injury again. Back into origin torn calf. No real rest or build up of footy just poor club management
That's a good summation. That's not bad luck that's just negligence from the club and Mitch. If player and club can't agree to put the Eels first what hope do we have.
The track record as you've stated it is a complete disaster. Heads should roll for this.
It gets to a point with his injury history you have to be smart about it. If he had DCE durability and no injury concerns he could be play every origin ever and it wouldn't matter. But his body is obviously struggling and the club/mitch keep doing the same thing over and over
