Maybe, being realistic, he knows that isn't really an option the way he is going.
And possibly have more expectations to work harder. The main deal was Melbourne would take him and pay him out.
I mean hey he has a deal for this year he is entitled to it and if there is an option for 2027 I would too ask for it to be guarenteed not an option in clubs favour.
Not saying it's right but he has the right to get what he is entitled to and ask for what he feels is best.

Can't really blame him. Moving away for the same coin and same length of contract, especially with all this head knock stuff going on.
We can't be going to court and on one hand saying a contract has to mean something and then on the other hand be trying to force someone out.
