Burton would be a great 6 to have, but there's no doubt we'd have to get into a bidding war to win his signature. As soon as that happens the move loses appeal for me because he's not worth the salary Bulldogs had to pay to bring him over from the Panthers. Bears will have a good crack at him for sure.
Would his playing style compliment Mitch's? I'm not so sure, we probably want a running 5/8 threat rather than a big boot.
I think with Lorenzo's age and potential, it's worth us holding out for the year and not rushing it.
Lorenzo is a generational talent. In both trials he barely ran the ball. Once he gets that out of the bag, you will see how lethal a talent he is. He has great footwork and a fantastic initial 30 metres in him. I really look forward to watching him go, We have been watching from the stands etc. We saw how hard it is to defend a 5/8 with instincts and vision in his game. He will literally destroy a retreating defensive line and plays eyes up footy as good as any kid comparable to him at 18/19.

"You're on the money as usual Coryn, but also, when the Storm are getting no reward late in the tackle, their 6 7 and 9 resort to angled grubbers thru our line or staying with angle lob one to allow their winger to catch and drop down over line.…"

I'm guessing they see Lorenzo as our future 6. I love to see him as our left centre though

He would work well with mitch. We would have the two best kickers in the game
