Thankyou to Manu for his services to Parra over the last 6 years one of my favourite players. Wish you all the best in the future.

  • Great call by Manu. What a find he’s been. I still remember the preseason where everyone was like “who is that guy? He’s killing it”. He’s never looked back. Good luck in England.

  • It's a shame but I think his best year was on that left edge in the year we lost all our points. I could be wrong, it might have been the year before. But anyway, every other year he was up and down and sometimes even completely owned by opposition forwards (like most players in the nrl). But regardless he gave his all and as fans that's all we can ask for.

  • Manu has been very good for the club over the years, certainly one of the best recruits we have made in the time he has been at the club.  He has been one of my favourite players during his time with us, at his position had a good mixture of speed, aggression and skill.  Not to mention his versatility.  Vale Manu.

  • He'll be a gun over there.still got a few good years in him at that level. Always worse off without him on the team sheet, which better start being filled with handy replacements for next year, can't wait to see who that might be, can't surely just be Utu , Faainga and Kafusi , can't have promising juniors actually fulfilling thier potential.

  • Good call by Eels management. Very tough and uncompromising player, but getting towards the back end of his career now & Parramatta are building a team for the future.

    • Good luck Manu and thanks

  • Dynamic player but lacked a couple of the subtleties to make him absolutely top class. Nobody has tried harder over past 5 seasons or so though. Will kill it in UK and should be able to play there until he is 35 or 36

    • I agree 100% . Thanks Manu

  • He's still playing good footy, but this is good for both parties, Ma'u still has enough footy to earn him a big contract in Super League and dominate the comp.

"Da Silva has more potential, better and quicker runner. Smith doesn't really have a weakness in his game. TDS is more flashy but Smith does the little things right. Sometimes that's all you need.
