"Well see Bellamy in presser, asked about how to stop Walsh and he said "It didn't work". The blunt honesty and the admission of just too good was a nice touch to the dominant performance.
In terms of Mitchell, thankfully we have been seeing halves…"

See I would have Radradra as X-factor, his ability to just create something from nothing. Sivo I wouldn't say was X-Factor. 2019 showed glimpses.
Yeah teams plan for great players, I was involved with an interview for Luke Vella on a podcast I was on, he mentioned his role and how he and the dogs staff game planned for certain players. They were playing Manly and he mentioned a game plan for Garrick and Talau. Do we consider them X-Factor just because their is a gameplan on them defensively?
Im glad that you said in your opinion though, if in your opinion an X-factor means that then that's as you say your opinion, though that puts the group into more broad category. To me X-Factor is a smaller more select group that not only helps a team win, but makes a team win. Does Brisbane win on Sunday without Walsh? That's what I see as X-Factor. Despite the fact that Shibasaki had 200 metres running and two tries, Walsh was apart of his two tries. Doesn't mean Shibasaki is not good, he still needed to do his job but it Walsh that was the main facilitator.
To me, I put it down to if you are down by 4 with 2 mins to go, who is the person you are looking at to win you that game? That is an X-factor. Those who do it multiple times.
Are there any in NZ or Fiji rugby we should look at Coryn though with X-factor traits?
Xfactor is different for every team not just a certain trait.
JWH I'd say he's an xfactor player not because of performance necessarily but because everyone follows a guy like him going into battle. He leads from the front and every foward pack needs an alpha.
Does he do all the flashy stuff no he doesn't does he have an effect on the scoreboard no he doesn't but do fowards and everyone else look across the dressing room and he lifts confidence within the team xfactor.
Too much is made of what xfactor actually means because it is a broad discussion just not in the highlight box like everyone wants it to be.
One thing I'll say and this isn't mentioned if you go to 16 nrl coaches outside of JR and ask what they think of Lomax I think then you get a more definitive answer of what Lomax really is as a player and if he has the mentioned.
Well Coryn when he was available last year, not many teams went for him to be fair. Not saying that means Lomax is not great but not many clubs were getting out their check books to sign him desperately. Unlike when if the likes of Walsh or Cleary or Papenhuyzen or Teddy if they were to come available which rarely happens with only Pap coming available.
Not saying either those coaches of other teams do not see him as a great player, i reckon Ryles would have got here with Lomax already and thought "Great to have him". Though would be fascinated to see if how many of the 16 agree or disagree as not all 16 will say the same thing.
Coryn, i do feel you're right in your 4th part, i guess it comes to X-Factor being that standard factor of being very broad to what many people feel is important to a team more than others. I consider X-factors to be a small group, you consider more players in that sense. I do not put it down to a certain trait as aspects that make a team win by one player can be different moments or things. Like i will Walsh again as an example, 40/20 v Canberra or that try v Melbourne, or the play on Kamikamica are to me X-Factor plays as those moments you look back and say that made them win.
I do not mind your leadership arguement as i have always advocated for players like JWH in that opposition and will and look and think "Christ, this guy".
Keep talking the X factor LB, you have nearly convinced yourself.....the rest of us left that stop 2 pages ago!
Oh sorry Poppa didn't realise you were so focused still on what i was saying as you always seem to be so focused on. Try not to lose too much sleep on your afternoon nap with what i am saying to Coryn who is having a civil conversation with me.
Size is irrelevant.....ask any woman?
I find it hard to believe that Ryles has a confidant that that in turn tells you all this shit and then you publish it on social media......gee I would be pissed if I told someone in confidence and it appeared all of a sudden.
How many confidants does Ryles have? History says Ryles is not a spruiker!
Maybe your source has the same problem that a lot of the other "sauces" have on here! i.e poor taste or this unblievable need to have a "scoop". Seems like a badge of honour for some of you!
Ummm It was Lomax not Ryles the person knew. Again reading would help a lot Poppa. So happens that i said he didn't want to go on Kangaroo tour then all of a sudden he pulls out? If the source was false it was a massive coincidence to happen.
Not really, a number of people myself included thought that Lomax carried injuries through the back end of the season. It was no surprise to me to see him pull out.
It obviously in all sorts of hindsight is untrue because the factors described would not allow the reason to be the 360 deal. Lomax is not required to be ahead of any of the others in the 360 reckoning. I reckon your deep throat may have known that Lomax did want to go on that tour because he needed the break.
The rest has become your supposition......reading all the shit on here may lead to misconceptions, but maybe writing it could do so equally.
The statement has been made about the hip injury and that Lomax will be back for the preseason, what more information do you want......I have heard no information through the whole season that Lomax was not a happy camper.....seemed to bust his guts every time he played....even tried too hard in my estimation sometimes.....all for the good of the team I might add!
As far as I know his bromance with Mitch is still solid....don't think you guys know the damage you do with your immature judgements of you thinking you know about "how they feel"
Move on!
He said he didn't want to go to start prepping for Japanese Rugby or try to get there. Their season starts in December. Again, no guarentees it happens. But i was told he wanted out of Kangaroo's tour, he is out. So information is on track. So far.
So you are saying the rest, when one part seems to be spot on, is my own supposition. Meaning an assumption. Well it ain't my assumption, i was told. It wasn't i was told one piece of info and the rest i just rambled on with, everything i said was told to me. If it all turns out right i credit my mail as i always would. But again so far the first piece of information turned out to be right in that he wanted to pull out and not go, he pulled out and not going.
As i said in my blog i have no clue how right it all is, but to say the rest other than the info that seems right is my assumption is wrong. It is what i was told.
This has nothing to do with Parramatta from what i was told. It was the money is too good. He loved his time at Parramatta. Didn't say anything about Mitch but i bet he would be supportive as he was with Brown.
And yet Parra won't be one of the those clubs poaching our NZ schools. I'm not one to go on a club knocking but it is true. Roosters would, Storm will, Dogs even may have a look. Brisbane as well. We won't and we should.
Like you've beat the drum of for a while, look at bloody Fiji and those comps.
