Hard Lol. Yes really. What do you think they can do? What lever do we have. We could complain to Sheik Union and ask them not to rego him as ALL HIS CONTRACT ARE BELONG TO US NOW...come on dude
He can kick us to the kerb tomorrow,. especially as the comp is overseas.
Or he could retire, effective immeadiately....The contract is toilet paper
I guess they could just pay out his entire contract cause they rich 😂 go and sign a Garrick and problem solved lol
Garricks will move up the pecking and pay order
If I was the nrl I'd offer Zach 300k or something outside the cap to keep a player like that in your comp 😂
I think they will have to do something like this. Just for the record I don't hate it. Nrl corporate burns cash like a feral ex-wife with a crack habit and your stolen credit card, Spend it on something useful instead of fucking vegas style junkets and cock-juggling marketers
Guys like Ponga Papi RTS NAS are probably good as gone, nrl can't match that kind of money
Well, we just release him and add more $$$ to the war chest. Then we front load more contracts, extend and upgrade youngsters contracts, then cross our fingers and pray that some become quality.
Only problem with that ploy, is you develop only to have other clubs swoop and then you have to develop again.
With new teams coming in, this unlikely union shit could be enough of a perfect storm to lower the standard of NRL and increase the value of average players.
Oh well, the refs and horse boy are messing with the game now, they will just meddle more to restore some mystical "entertainment value"
If it gets off the ground, i won't watch it. I don't give a shit about yawnion
Hope it doesn't even get off the ground, sounds like a shit show
Hopefully it will be another flop like Super League. I heard somewhere that it's not even proper union, apparently it's gonna be something between union and league....something like union with a tackle count.
