  • Not sure about you blokes but a move would most likely happen in 2027-2028, Zach is a good player but he is a winger so I wouldn't really lose to much sleep if he left for that comp in 2027 or 2028. Guess we'll see how it plays out but no way the club can match offers of 1.3+ million

  • Why u posting this old news

    • New article today lol, club is aware Union is after him

  • He would have to break his contract to take up that union deal so I don't know how that pans out but I wouldn't be losing sleep over losing a winger. Obviously you would prefer not to lose any player to this union comp but if we lose lomax so be it.

    • He'd have to push for a release similar to Bailey has done but this would be two years down the track so club has plenty of time to plan around it. NRL won't step in with any incentive to keep players in the comp so it will be interesting to see how many move on. Can't blame the bloke if they are tossing around 1.3 million for basically doing nothing in union 😂

      • Isn't it meant to start in 2026?, apparently 12 NRL players have signed letters of intent to this rugby comp which is slated to start in September next year meaning they will have to break their NRL contracts to honour the letter of intent, this is going to get real messy and expensive.

        • Yeah starts next September, if I was Lomax I'd wait and see how the first round of players goes and maybe make the move in 2027, eels do have to actually grant the release so they hold all the cards. Guys who are off contract can just go

          • Funny stuff Eli. He could leave tomorrow for Union and there is fuck all we can do

            • Not really he's contracted till 2028, would need the clubs help 😂
