            • Yeah i am a big advocate for blooding juniors, how will they learn the speed and physicality of the grade without playing. However, the damage that can be done if you blood too early. Sometimes giving a game here or there doesn't hurt but if you throw Twidle into 6 and we have a bad game or two, pressure is on him more while partnering Moses. I would give him most this year in the halves but that wont happen as Cayless will play Talataina and Volkman in halves. Twidle spent the pre-season at 1, he wouldn't be ready to come in defend in the front line.

Though i am bullish on Twidle more than Talataina at the moment mainly due to the potential of being a 7 as well as a 6.

      • I think Pezet was always a stop gap solution that landed at the right time. The development players were always the longer term plans, and if they are good enough this season, I can't see why Ryles wouldn't give them some game time towards the end of this season.

Agreed, though we still need outside backs. You could argue that wingers and not centres are the modern day game breakers. You want your centres to be defensively sound and provide support to their wingers. Do we have anyone in the lower grades who fits that bill? If not, we definitely should be looking at bringing someone in.

  • So he ain't going to be traded to anyone. Oh well, if we can't have him nobody can.

But his name is poision. Clubs do not want to touch him.

    • Exactly! It's a big ask for clubs to want to deal with him for swap deal esp after season start, rosters set after he showed his extremely bad form. Hope everyone remembers he signed a contract that he then immediately said he didn't believe we could hold valid!

if only he had of come to us back at start of Dec per contract terms, none of this bad pr would have occurred to his brand name. And we could have potentially grabbed a suitable trade.

there's no point in Anyone bagging this ru move as anything to do with being our mess!

  • He left to sign Rugby, these are the cards he dealt himself. Glad to hear the end of it.

  • Well there goes that Tago from Penrith swap. As usual we end up with jackshite.

  • What he ought to have done in first place. Reality strikes hard!

  • Oh well it could be worse.

  • No one should complain now, I said we should take what we could get while we could. We got pumped by all the players that everyone said weren't good enough for a trade.

    • But what take a player that Melbourne would rather debut two players ahead of just to get something for him? Meanwhile strengthening Melbourne in the process?

"Look TDS ain't going anywhere anytime soon, but i think it is more paletable if Joash is that 14 where he can fill in at Hooker for short mins and also play other positions if needed, as opposed to a straight up Hooker. TDS can still be in the 19."
