        • the ban won't apply with the club releasing him, unless the NRL want to start a full on investigation into the dealings of Schifcofske and find evidence that negotiations with R360 have already taken place, whilst Lomax was still contracted. Whilst common sense would tell you Schifcofske has been in direct dealings for months and the ban may well apply to him, finding evidence would be hard to say the least. The NRL can't find evidence of years of salary cap rorting by the Chooks, not sure where they would find evidence in this scenario. Same deal with Papenhuizen. They found the loophole.

          • You cannot place limits on who managers speak with, regardless of what vlandys in his cranky pants

            • The NRL can't stop them from speaking to others, but they can de-register any player managers they want to. Particularly if those player managers are actively doing things that will threaten the NRL itself.

              • No. They can't.

Why did they allow Issac Moses to re-register? Why not just boot him altogether....it's because they couldn't,

                • They can ban them indefinetely. Like registering players, the NRL isn't compelled to accredit any player agent. There is no legal requirement for the NRL to accredit a player agent.

In the case of Moses, I'd say he had way too many players on his books and the NRL could have lost significant talent if he wasn't re-registered. It was in their interests to do it. With someone like Schifcofske, it might not be the case.

                  • Lost talent to where? Yawnion? Hockey?  They just would have found another accredited agent.

If NRL could punt agents at will Issac would be gone

                    • Until you can prove the NRL are forced to accredit player agents, or that they cannot permanently ban player agents accreditation, I will never agree with your opinion.

                    • Cool Beans...

but why is Issac back? Your reasons above just don't track

                    • how would I know? That you would have to ask the NRL. All I know is the NRL have the ability to permanently ban player agents. Whether they choose to enforce that it entirely up to them.

            • No you can't place limits on who managers can speak with but the NRL has every right to decide who plays in their competition.

If they decide not to register a players contract, there's fuck all the players can do about it.
