          • You cannot place limits on who managers speak with, regardless of what vlandys in his cranky pants

            • The NRL can't stop them from speaking to others, but they can de-register any player managers they want to. Particularly if those player managers are actively doing things that will threaten the NRL itself.

              • No. They can't.

Why did they allow Issac Moses to re-register? Why not just boot him altogether....it's because they couldn't,

                • They can ban them indefinetely. Like registering players, the NRL isn't compelled to accredit any player agent. There is no legal requirement for the NRL to accredit a player agent.

In the case of Moses, I'd say he had way too many players on his books and the NRL could have lost significant talent if he wasn't re-registered. It was in their interests to do it. With someone like Schifcofske, it might not be the case.

            • No you can't place limits on who managers can speak with but the NRL has every right to decide who plays in their competition.

If they decide not to register a players contract, there's fuck all the players can do about it.

          • He was released on request to take up an offer from R360.

            The ban will apply.

            • Only if the NRL choose to enforce it. The player being released allows the NRL to re-sign them and still save face. If Payne Haas or Reece Walsh goes, then decides they want to come back, do you really think the NRL will stand their ground on the ban? I doubt it.

              • Say 15 top shelf players leave and 7 realize after one season that they hate it...lifestyle, game, everything? The idea that they would be denied re-entry is hilarious to me. Clubs will be tripping over themselves to get these blokes and it will be vlandys head on the block

  • At least it's done and we can all move on

  • Wonder who we buy we need more players experience players to

Perpetual Motion replied to LB's discussion North Queensland Cowboys Winger Murray Taulagi set to exit Cowboys, could he be an option for Parramatta?
"He would be the ideal replacement but we probably wouldn't get him to 2027. Is Hiroti off contract now? I'm reading conflicting reports."

LB replied to Roy tannous's discussion Lomax gone immediately
"Coryn you have a point. Ryles seems to have preferred Lomax goes now as he doesn't want to be a part of the future. Yet Pezet also decided to not be part of the future?
It is a double standard."
