Eels' Club Statement

"The Parramatta Eels can confirm that Zac Lomax has been granted an immediate release from his playing contract to pursue opportunities outside the NRL.

The Club would like to thank Zac for his contribution during his time with the Eels in 2025 and we wish him all the best for the future."

    This has been brewing for a while. Ryles was open to it, and I'm guessing they've secured another (major) signing which is why they rubber stamped it and have officially announced it. I would expect a signing announcement very soon now that pre-season training has started.

    If Storm are chipping in, we'd be crazy not to look at NAS. Kalamatagi not sure about for 950K!

    On the positive front, it has been reported we have locked JAC down until the end of 2027 in an article on the topic- has anyone else heard this? I haven't seen a club statement
