Loko Pasifiki Tonga requests immediate release

Sign the bloke. He is very similar to Sam Tuivita. Both played u19 origin blues together. He ran for 200m+ last week in nsw cup and still didnt get called into their side lol. Unlike the other duds from the DT article, this bloke is young and heaps of upside.

                    • Yep I think the talent in SG Ball is more than the 2023 team that won the comp and that team had has 7 players play nrl.

I personally recon Seuseu should skip his second year of HM. Alamoti did that. I would start Seuseu in SG ball next year and straight into JF after that. Then hope by 2028 he is nrl/cup ready. I don't think he will play JF this year due to school and union commitments. Plus that would be stiff on the likes of Howlett, Sorovi, Bloomfield and Roksuka

With how well JF is going and the Ball forward I doubt Polley gets much time in JF this year which is disappointing. Him and Bell as you said were so dominant in HM but I am yet to see them up against the older and physical boys as mentioned but I am confident they will be up for it

                    • Yea i think the coaching staff need to find the right balance of giving Seuseu enough of a challenge to force him to continuously improve without damaging his body before it has developed.

But i agree with him potentially skipping HM next year if hes so far ahead that he gets complacent

                    • His attitude is very impressive and thats clear from his defence. Defensively he is superior that Alamaoti at the same age. You see him chasing down from the other side of the field if there is a line break. You see him celebrating his teams efforts in attack or defence. It seems like his mentality is very good.

                    • Yea and lets be fair that his halves havent done him any favours this year. He could be frustrated with the lack opportunities the halves have given him but his attitude has been great and even though he doesnt get much good ball in the centres he often goes in for a scoot where he is breaking 2-3 tackles.

If they could get him 1 on 1 there is almost an automatic linebreak/try there. Crazy that he was 15 to start the season and so far ahead of everyone else.

                    • Dont get me started on that lol. The halves dont provide him with barely any good ball. Even when they tried him at fullback during the game he would barely get the ball in good positions.

                    • lol ok at least im not the only one seeing it

                    • Bell and Lorima has carried that team so hard. Martin and Jake have had good games too. I cant believe the team is actually still alive in the competition. Credit to them.

                    • Yea agree. If it wasnt for bell they would be a middle of the pack team imo. He is that influential

  • Simi Sasagi from Raiders

    • The old fashioned "this guy came out of nowhere and playing well, let's get him" trope.

"i wouldnt say hes overrated, id say hes still raw. He needs to work on the little things that he wont get away with at NRL level. Hes still a great talent."

"Nobody wants to come to Parra that's of any value because it's been a basket case for years! Only players that arrive are either almost retired or useless anywhere else"
