Loko Pasifiki Tonga requests immediate release

Sign the bloke. He is very similar to Sam Tuivita. Both played u19 origin blues together. He ran for 200m+ last week in nsw cup and still didnt get called into their side lol. Unlike the other duds from the DT article, this bloke is young and heaps of upside.

  • Simi Sasagi from Raiders

    • The old fashioned "this guy came out of nowhere and playing well, let's get him" trope.

  • Both Su'a and LPT spent an afternoon in the off season just gone visiting a close friend of mine at his house who passed of brain cancer a week before Christmas.

Matt was a Dragons fanatic and always said LPT needed to embrace the collision more, even told him whilst he sat on his couch - all in jest.

Will never say a bad word about the pair of them for how they conducted themselves with giving their time to a fan like that.
Have the photo of the three of them saved on my phone still.

    • These are players we need, they are culture driven players. I'll sign watson as well, add Tago to our side as well. Winners and Heart thats what this club needs to be built on. If im Ryles ill go all in to sign Yeo or Cleary, you've got to do it for the sake of the franchise parra is built on.

      • If it was possible to do why haven't other rubbish teams done so? It sounds simple in theory but it just isn't and what it will take to get Yeo and Cleary here would destroy our cap. Added to that Yeo is 33 next year, how long til he declines?

  • We wouldn't need an established prop if we get him as he is first grade ready but I've only seen Titans and Bulldogs linked to him

    • I would argue you still do need experience, but I also have said we could do with two middles.

  • I'm getting word out of Mexico that Loko is crazy.

  • Would i go for LPT, despite our juniors with the likes of Jackson Koina, Ryda Talagi and Max Popo coming through? Yes. Will Parramatta want him? No idea, they seem to be adament on an experienced Prop (KK, Barnett) to take over from Paulo and that is fair considering Tuivaiti is only 21 still. But at the same time, LPT is too good a talent to pass up. I think it would be useful to get both LPT and an experienced Prop.

    8. Tuivaiti

    9. Smith

    10. Experienced Prop

    11. Williams

    12. Su'A

    13. Hopgood

    14. Da Silva

    15. Walker

    16. Pasifiki Tonga

    17. Brown

That is a decent pack and bench.

  • Someone on the Saints facebook group mentioned Kade Reed is coming to the Eels as well as Su'a???? We really should go after Pacifiki-Tonga (excuse the spelling)
