Loko Pasifiki Tonga requests immediate release

Sign the bloke. He is very similar to Sam Tuivita. Both played u19 origin blues together. He ran for 200m+ last week in nsw cup and still didnt get called into their side lol. Unlike the other duds from the DT article, this bloke is young and heaps of upside.

    • I would argue you still do need experience, but I also have said we could do with two middles.

  • I'm getting word out of Mexico that Loko is crazy.

    • I see what you did there.

    • Bueno....we mucho needo dis

  • Would i go for LPT, despite our juniors with the likes of Jackson Koina, Ryda Talagi and Max Popo coming through? Yes. Will Parramatta want him? No idea, they seem to be adament on an experienced Prop (KK, Barnett) to take over from Paulo and that is fair considering Tuivaiti is only 21 still. But at the same time, LPT is too good a talent to pass up. I think it would be useful to get both LPT and an experienced Prop.

    8. Tuivaiti

    9. Smith

    10. Experienced Prop

    11. Williams

    12. Su'A

    13. Hopgood

    14. Da Silva

    15. Walker

    16. Pasifiki Tonga

    17. Brown

That is a decent pack and bench.

    • 10. Kalooamantangi, LB? Surely there is an opportunity or at least conversation with the Su'a signing / Dragons issues.

We have all the data we need from 6 rounds, and the issues our middle & lack of metre eater in early tackles (Lomax) have clearly dictated our season.

It's not often you get to fix a clear f-up, the Eels may get that chance.

Kaeon's age & price may not be perfect, but that is professional sport. We desperately need the type of player Kaeon is, and we knew that in pre-season, let alone now.

This is not under 7's, the Dragons issues are an opportunity, they wouldn;t think twice if the roles were reversed, nor should they.

  • Someone on the Saints facebook group mentioned Kade Reed is coming to the Eels as well as Su'a???? We really should go after Pacifiki-Tonga (excuse the spelling)

    • Them giving us Kade Reed will be the biggest mistake dragons can make as a club. I'd get Pacifiki-Tonga but man Kade Reed he's got some big wraps on him.

  • Outside Backs is what we really need to target middles yes ok plug the young fulla in around our young guys and see which one rises.Right now it's Tuivaiti in a canter he's the next cab off the rank for the middles equation. We need more someone else needs to step up or be signed.

IMO though our back 5 anyone not named Iongi is upgradable if those blind clowns on our R & R can't see that we are farked.

    • Yep no junior outside back will be ready till 2028 IMO so we need recuirtments asap and thats if players like Bloomfield, Sorovi and Seuseu pick league over union.
