  • So many injuries already this year and it's only round 4. Going to be a long season. At least gives other players some opportunities

    • I said before the season started that junior needs to be coming off the interchange. It's a big call though to have $975k of your cap tied up in a bench warmer. A lesson in cap management.

I've always been a big supporter of Joash at 6, but for whatever reason he is reluctant to dig into the line and straighten our attack. I don't think he's afraid of contact, it just doesn't seem to come naturally to him. A work in progress perhaps.

DeBelin should be starting lock, he solidifies our middle defence and importantly doesn't make mistakes or handling errors.

Do we get cap relief for Hopgoods long term injury? Teacum Brown needs to be bought into the team at some stage soon.

      • Joash started to dig into the line more towards the backend of last season. I don't see Pezet doing it much either.

Whilst good in defence, D'bellend offers less than nothing in attack. He isn't what you want in your squad.

With Hopgood and Dorey suffering season ending injuries this early in the season, we should get cap relief for both.

The only problem is, there is absolutely fuck all available and if there was, we would miss out anyway.

  • I would go this way,

We need to start better and the middles starting as they were weren't getting it done.

Starting walker at 13 hasn't worked,  jdb also didn't work Starting at 13. Jnr Paulo played the role superbly for Samoa so why not give him a crack since him Starting at prop hasn't helped our starts.

Tuilagi's defence is not first grade standard, it's not even reserve grade standard, we can't afford to  have him in the 17 whilst better defenders are available.
