One has to have an influence on the other, I'm talking in terms of salary cap implications and what Junior's expectations might be. Sure we may well still be interested in him but this has ramifications. I'm thinking it's going to take a decent offer to get this over the line, there is going to be a fallout as a result.
Damn! He must be content with the four premiership rings for the rest of his footy career.
Well Newcastle came within 1 point of a premiership 12 months after getting the spoon. Anything is possible if we fix the attitude.
Newcastle has a backline far superior to ours + a guy called Ponga. Newcastle always had potential. If only they had Siafiti and Mooney up front, could be a different result.
Eels on the other hand... our roster is a long way off, not just attitude.
Quality Zip, we don't need cheap bargains, we need rep players. Nobody has won a comp without rep players.
Huge signing, his attitude alone will benefit the club. Now for Best, he will add to our backline more than Lomax did. If only Lomax had stayed, but that's now in the past. This is what the Roosters do, replace departing players with quality. How is it, it's taken so long to understand that. It's because nobody wants to pay overs, well your not in the game if you don't.
