Leave Samrani at centre

He did more last night than Penisi has done in the last 2 years. Nanva and Samrani as our centre pairing would be good

  • Surely a priority re-signing ! Id leave him at centre for the remainder of this year at least!

  • Richie Pensini ruled out of nsw cup again. Petrus starting. Talagi and Miller on the bench

  • I no for sure we need an upgrade on the right wing and an upgrade at left centre at bare minimum.I looked at Chester and Perdue last night and they put the shits up our guys everytime they touched the ball. All of our centres struggle because of lack of lateral agility there all straight line players and not overly athletic.

Thats the key we need to find more Speed agility and Physicality across the park.It was a good game from our guys last night they fought to the end but if your looking at it from a long term proposition our roster is very limited as currently constructed.

    • I agree wholeheartedly with this  . I actually feel we are a pretty well coached football side. Most of the rubbish stems from guys losing athletically or making bad decisions. The system itself isn't the issue. Our recruitment and retention team needs to make sure we recruit and retain guys who can meet the demands of the modern game and guys like Will and Guymer are not it . We've already re-signed Guymer . Who knows what's going on with Will . Samrani has a bit of height and skill about him - not the speed and acceleration to play centre long term but for the meantime he's a lot better than what we have . Nanva is a bit the same  . Find a couple of decent centres and convert Jordan to an edge back rower who can fill in at centre if something happens in game and we're getting somewhere .

  • Samrani is the most improved player in our club. Before his injury he was going well. I just love how he is an all in team player. Nothing selfish, thinks of the best person in the best position gets the ball ( Eg  Papali ). His carries are strong and he is aware of players around his pre tackle as opposed to pushing balls in heavy contact becuase you havent thought about who was supporting you.

YES, definatel;y retain him. But I think JR will revert to Will.

  • Penisini is straight up terrible. Someone said he costs us games, which is completely true.

I dunno if I've ever seen a player butcher as many tries as Penisini fingers. Pack his bags, send him to perth with his mate Sean. Or PNG.

Plus he gets beaten by his opposing centre every single week and lets in at least 1 try or more every week.

    every

    single

    game

  • Samrani has defence problems last night but coming back from injury to keep going the way he did impressive. He's always good in attack .if he's defence was OK in previous games he's a keeper
