I read an article about this guy. He is only young and was in the Melbourne system, he is currently at the dragons but can’t get a run. He averages the most metres and post contact metres in Canterbury cup.

Arnie, he is a young front rower 22 I believe. The article that I read was actually having a crack at Mcgregor for not playing him. The article listed all the average metres of the dragons forwards and laughing as to why he hadn’t been given a go.
He has had 10 Team of the week selections

Looks (built) like Paul Vautin, another deranged Queenslander. If we get RCG and with our other tall poppies Lane and Evans, if Timm has speed and stramina like Nathan Brown then we use him as a lock come backrower working behind the ruck and attacking on the fringes of the edges and we use Kaufusi and Otoikamanu in the middle Timm might be a good replacement for CW/. I don't know anything about him and probably have never seen him play as I hate the Dragons unless we are playing them in Canterbury Cup.

maybe one of the reasons we said no to Welch????
Dragons do have a quality forward pack and they've been concentrating on trying to make the finals, so I'm not surprised he hasn't had a run yet as it's probably not the best time to blood a rookie forward.
Now that they're out... he might see some game time. If he's that impressive we definitely should be looking at him. If this article is out, there's a good chance it means he's given his manager a nudge to see what options he has elsewhere.
Recently we have had more success with lesser known recruits. Gutho, Sivo, Manu, Gower, Evans, Tacka and Brown. We have chased every prop on and off contract so I can’t see the harm of giving this guy a base contract and maybe we can get another surprise.
Everyone mentions his attacking stats but how is his effort in defence, discipline and training. Also when does he take his hit ups, probably waiting for quick play the ball but rarely does the tough stuff when defences are set.
I had quick look and see his name on list for missed tackles, penalties conceded as well. His not at the top but still top 20 players in negative stats so obviously he has gaps in his game.
I think it's funny people read a story and think it simple and clear that a young player will be next superstar to fix parra's issues. Here's a tip, every club, especially the successful clubs roosters and storm have people watching every single state cup (Qld and NSW) game, every youth carnival and school comp. By the time there is a write up in the news about a player there has no doubt been conversations at various clubs. The reason they are not playing first grade isn't by accident but due to the research people with more experience and knowledge then us online have. They have access to stats and videos to analyse their whole game not just the highlights or facts their managers push to get published by media. Their off field efforts are also massive measures now and the fact the storm let him go is very telling.
I saw Bevan french at the top of various attacking stats as well so should we get him back in 1st grade. Just the same with everything in life there are levels to the game and the best at lower levels, aren't always the ones who perform when elevated. This can be for a number of reasons but mainly due to lack of drive to keep improving which is required to handle the step up to nrl. If they aren't showing the commitment in lower grades they more than likely will not make the step up.
Thanks for that mate, maybe just maybe you needed to read my post more clearly. I never said he will be our fix I said why not take a punt on a base contract.
Remember each team has to have a top 30, we put the Queensland cup player in this year and it didn’t turn out. There is room for a punt why not have one?
