Kurtly Beale: do we need him?

Kurtley 'Beagle' Beale, the Wallaby trouble maker, is linked to a few NRL clubs-Bullfrogs, Shorkies, Dragqueers, Penrough, Canberra 'why did we buy Ricky Stuart for?' Raiders, and of course us. Would he make a good replacement for Willie 'Wonka' Tonga and partner Hoppa in the centres or is Beau Champion going to be the new centre partner? You think we should throw money (or bricks) at him? Is he worth it? Should he be our new cheerleader coach or ballboy? Personally, I wouldn't really want him near the club since we got Champion so what's the point of getting Beagle Beale? What's your opinion?

  • NO

  • He wouldn't be able to defend in the front line so he'd have to play fullback. Not suited to League imo.

    • Agreed. He's not suitable for NRL.

  • He can't defend in the front line, what about Sandow he is not very good at defending so that is not a good reason for not playing in the halves. Kurtly would be alright in the halves as is a pretty good player, but I would not want this toxic player at our club even for cheap coin. Champion will do okay if he is over his injuries.

  • The wood 'tackle' to most union backs means 1 thing only, it's time to go fishing. Just like the other bum, quade Cooper, Breale would fail greatly in the real game.
