Kieran Foran retires end of 2025 Season

Always thought of what could have been with him at Parramatta.   A tough player that did it all and as his own Man considering who his Dad was as a big shot corporate Head in the USA.   Well played sir...

  • He's a total Grub.  His history in the game is chequered , from betting and fixing allegations , to white anting coaches who gave him a crack when nobody else would give him the time of day  .  Bloke sat out and took millions off us whilst shacked up with Eddie Hayson and mixing with blokes like Ryan Tandy. .

A stain on our club and the game.  Wish him nothing but misery .

    • Wiz you should be happy with me then according to snake I killed his career at Parra with my lust 🤣🤣

      I must say though

watching him go through melbourne airport with his wife trying to hold her up ( after she had learnt her son had committed suicide ) was heartbreaking to watch .....

I think mb he's a dude who has learnt and came good

      • His career was fucked before  he came to us , that's why he came to us . Was in gambling debt and needed the funds from the big pay increase to cover them. Manly knew what was going on , and so did Foz.  He came to us because he didn't want to shaft Manly .  He totally hoodwinked us. We were a club begging to be taken for a ride by shitbag players like Foz , Floppa and Sambow looking to take us to the cleaners .

Wherever he's gone he's been a fucking cancer . It's a miracle he's never been stamped out of the game. I was told at the time by more then a few pretty decent sources  he was a whisker away when he took his " mental health " break. If rumours are even close to legit , he made Tandy look like The Pope .

  • He's one of my favourite players of all time.

Not blessed with the natural or physical skills many other will have.

But for courage and pure ticker and just a flat out player who plays tough he is a champion.

When I heard he was coming to Parra I thought that was going to be the game changer and in his short cameo I thought we were a top 4 side while he was here.

Never ever have I seen a guy straighten an attack and make a living of taking a beating taking the ball into the defensive line like he did.

I wish the guy well absolutely love him as a player.

    • 100% and I reckon he would have had a lot less injuries and an even better career had he got the protection that the current halves in the game do earlier in his career. Although I don't particularly like the protection halves get now, if you're going to dig that far into the line copping a whack is part of it

  • Again. Didn't he "retire" when he left us?

    • Yup, just to keep himself out of the spotlight whilst investigations were going on.  How people admire the dude has me stumped.  Think about it , you fork out your hard earned to go watch a game that this flop and his crook mates have wagers on  .  All whilst he's on our dollar . Do we belive there was only bets going on us to win games ?  Please .  He was a grub , worst signing I can think of pound for pound in modern history.

Hayson was also asked about a bet of $18,000 that was placed on the Eels to beat Manly by more than five points earlier this season, some of the proceeds of which ended up in the TAB accounts of Foran and his brother Liam, after using the winnings for a plunge on a racehorse on the Sunshine Coast.

Eddie Hayson, the controversial punter, has confirmed he attempted to place $30,000 in NRL player Kieran Foran's account this year

  • Added to that is Des could be gone Monday morning if Brisbane beat them, which is likely.

Keep an eye on some talent in GC

    • You are spot on LB, I heard if they don't beat the Broncos, Des will be gone and Jim Lenihan will take over as caretaker coach. Apparently they have put BA on their list of possible coaches, plus they are looking at a name change, back to the chargers or one of their previous names.

  • Foz was hot

and I enjoyed every minute of having some fair dinkum eye candy at Parra

it was like a " short dream come true " for me at least
