Kevin Kingston Re-Signs With Panthers

Phil Gould just confirmed on the Channel Nine coverage of tonight's Tigers v Warriors game that Kevin Kingston had signed a new one year deal with the panthers.

He said that they told him to test his worth earlier in the year but seeing that if he was to sign with another club it would be outside of Sydney and at the time it wasn't suitable for his family to move that they offered him a new one year deal.

I still think it wouldn't have been a bad idea for us to sign him on a one year deal until we can sign a quality hooker for the future on a long term deal.
