  • If we are to get Koloamatangi, it would not be in 2026. I doubt Souths are that dumb to let him go immediately with their limit forwards unless they get someone good in return.

    • Bro there good for fowards adding Fifita now.And shit if they want someone "good" give em matterson😂

      • Not middles.

    • They just signed Fafita. Does that change your thoughts?

      • No, why would it? They need middles.

        8. Tatola

        9. Smith

        10. Koloamatangi

        11. Fifita

        12. Arrow

        13. Murray

Take out Keaon, who do you put in? Keppie? Could move Duncan to edge and Arrow to middle but Tatola is not playing how he used to. Moale will be at Manly as soon as Croker retires.

        • I don't disagree Keaon won't leave Souths early. However I think Souths are looking pretty flush for Middles now.
Cheese will play rolling lock forward. Fifita might spend some time in the middle off the bench too. I don't think Keaon wants to play middle either and I think Souths see Fifita as a way to get a high quality edge forward for cheap coin to replace him.

I also don't know if Moale leaving early will happen dependent on Croker/Manly top 30, I think Souths will only do it if they have the right replacement ready to go. Hopefully they want Matterson!

          • Hubner, Arrow, Fifita, Keaon, Murray, Tatola, Moale, Cheese, Garlik, Duncan, Aitken, LeBlanc, Keppie.

That's a pretty high quality pack with depth, most of them play in the middle.

            • High quality? Ok you have your starters in Koloamatangi and Arrow. Duncan is edge, so it Aitken. Hubner is Lock mainly, Garlick is replacing Havili as that bench Hooker middle but is ok, LeBlanc is fine, Tatola is a shell of his former self and Souths fans want to run Keppie out of town. Moale deal to Manly at the moment is dependent on Croker for top 30 spot. Smith is going to be their Hooker pretty much.

Experts all say the same thing they need middles. They would not let Koloamatangi go early nor should they

  • If Souths lose Keon then they are cooked. And they surely would know that

  • Bennet is steadfast in his beliefs you don't pay props massive money at 75 yo I doubt that'll change.

I expect kaloamatongi to be elsewhere in 27, his manager will wait until Haas and Tino have been signed to establish a top line front rowers market value, making it easier to equate keons potential worth going to market.
