    • It's going to be very interesting with luai essentially coming off contract on Nov 1 with his option. Will he take advantage of Galvin being gone and hit the tigers for more money or will he just take the option as is.

    • And they want Taylan May there? I have it on good authority that Benji is like the manager of the joint, Api is the main coach. He runs the joint. Benji is the just the face there. Not saying he doesn't do anything but Api is mostly the coach.

That is how things like this happens. Players can feel how they want to, but the public calling them out i think is unprofessional. I would not want to see our players do that to Brown, nor would they. Do it behind closed doors.

  • It would be a classical Parramatta move if we signed Galvin. I can think of a few times where we have told a junior player "Sorry, we don't need you", and then years later we buy them back on big money.

    • Mitch Moses, as an example.

      • To be fair, Moses was pretty meh at the time and begged us to come over. When Moses arrived he would've been flat out getting a start at many of the NRL clubs in his favoured position.

Half of this joint wanted to fuck him off after 10 games 😂 back then he had oodles of competitiveness  and lacked the polish. Now he has plenty of polish but lacks the competitiveness.

        • Yeah I remember at the time thinking the club had gone crazy signing Moses. He was looking like he was just another overrated junior at a struggling club. I dont think the tigers cared all that much that they lost him either. Completely different situation to when they lost Tedesco for example. At least that's how it seemed.

    • What's wrong with that? If they are good enough for the money then so what?

  • Watching NRL 360 response to Galvin makes 100% on the side of Lachlan. Bunch of muppets.

He said no to a contract. I don't like the circus he created but some of the reactions are mental.

And this stupidity about how "The Tigers stood strong and showing leadership". Fuck off.

    • It is pandering at it's finest. The reason for that is poor them syndrome. If it was Parra though? So much more different.

Do i agree with the whole thing of Wests gave him a go? Yeah i do. Do i agree with dropping him to NSW cup? I actually do as Wests as a club do not need the distraction in FG if the senior players are so against him. Do i agree with him deciding to leave with 18 months left? No, but that is an NRL issue.

But when you have Anasta being the only sane one the panel of NRL 360 times are tough. I do not know why they don't offer the co-host chair to Dan Ginnane or rotate it with James Graham as well. Tallis is inept as a media personality, he is too bias and nobody challenges him as they are too scared.

But i digress. Paul Crawley saying Wests need to stay strong and have Galvin see out his contract. Does he not understand how stupid that is? Also, straight after says they can't come out and announce he is in Cup for 2 years. Which is it mate? But imagine the media circus for 2 years of Galvin in cup and once he signs elsewhere and the media speculation of are you going to release him, if there is an injury are you going to pick him? He plays well are you going to keep him? They keep him in the team, but he said this about Benji and senior players don't forgive him etc. It would be a nightmare. But too focused on trying to make Wests strong.

  • Overall the thing that has annoyed me the most is the constant Wests Tigers pandering happening. When DCE did similar, i understand his announcement was a bit worse and Manly ummed and arred, but it was DCE did wrong, Manly did wrong but also DCE was disrespected etc.

This is all Wests are hard done by, they are standing strong, they will not be bullied. Ummmmm they do realise Galvin and his management rejected them first right?

Saying Wests did the right thing and showed strength. What Richardson did is like for example a guy rings up his mrs and says "Let's go out somewhere tonight" She replies "Nah, i am actually going to see someone else tonight, not interested" Then he says to himself "Well then i dump her, i don't want to be with her anymore". That is what has happened and Wests have gotten applause from this as if they are brave and strong. It is just asinine. It is pandering to give them confidence as they have gotten three straight spoons.

I wonder if Parra was the team Galvin did this too, what the reaction would be? Media would be saying "Parra let another junior go, what is going on" Completely different narrative.
