            • Stranger things have happened. They'd be happy to take some of their ex players back again whilst still playing good footy.

          • Burton ist replacing Crichton or Xerri at centre, they have been 2 of doggies best.

            • Well Burton is probably gone then. Gus can be pretty ruthless. Plus hell have the full backing of the club to make them better. This unfortunately is why we are where we are. Some teams are proactive, where as we are reactive.

          • Burton is on big coin to be a Centre. But Dogs already have two Origin caliber Centres in Crichton and Xerri. If Galvin is signed it will be pushing Burton out. I agree Burton is not that great of a 5/8.

            • He is on decent money but the cap will only grow. I'll make an early prediction and say Burton will end up at the tigpies in a player swap. He'll end up with a mystery (Landry assisted) TPA to sweeten his deal. Galvin will be developing his skills as a dog

      • Dogs have the big hitters we have who?

  • Galvin to the Dogs only makes sense because the Dogs are always linked to high profile players these days and because they need to improve their spine.

But for the actual balance of their roster it doesn't make a lot of sense. 2 high paid running 5/8s.

    • It's doesn't make sense at all

Jerome lui  signing would make more sense

    • Galvin is going to get $800k minimum. He is not worth that but the market dictates it as it is so bare for quality halves. The one thing about Galvin is he is so good already for his age i feel he is worth the risk. If he is playing like that as a 19 year old, imagine after another full season or two?

Plus some Wests fans saying he only looked good in a spoon team. Too me that is more impressive for his age, he able to adapt with not help from teammates.

"Flanno can coach but he is not overly liked. I've told this before but my brother knew a former Dragons player and said he liked Griffin but hated Flanagan with a passion."
