You'd think any tackle like that causing injury should be 4 weeks like couchman. Set the precedent don't land on peoples legs lol. Disappointing from nrl but hopefully Iongi avoided bad injury still needs scans

Totally disgraceful! If they're serious about stopping the 'Hip Drop' tackles then it should be equal consequences! The tackler should be out of the game the same amount of time the injured player is out
Yep make it simple you land on someone legs and cause injury 4 weeks. They might be more careful if punishment isn't soft

It is due to Iongi only missing a few months compared to Hopgood missing a year. Seriousness of the injury dictated the weeks.
If someone sat on Cleary leg and he's out for 8 weeks I wonder...
