I mean could be wrong, doubt it is only for one year. Two years and more likely an option for a 3rd in our favour as that was the apparent sticking point. Also, he would be on ok money for his experience. As for coming here to be a back-up, i think it is more so a fight for your spot no guarentees type situation. I doubt he would be coming here with Ryles saying Simonsson and Russell are our starters you just wait for an opportunity.
Then again, his only other option was SL from all accounts, so perhaps take a deal while you can.
Not a game changer by any means but a decent signing overall. Is he a better centre than Russell? I'd say definitely and I actually like Russell. That alone makes our squad better. Regardless of thoughts, Russell or Kelly both will be a handy back up. Ritchie hasn't had a chance to do week on week up against men consistently with his injuries so don't think it's fair to be relying on him if injuries strike
I will also add he does consistently make the 10m/ run and has a relatively high work rate. This was my main concern with losing Lomax cause he did a lot of our dirty work. This will help with that
"Also, I did not respond to Poppas blog as one part in particular left me with something to think about strongly enough that I then had to reflect on whether I needed to do some small self-adjustments. Turns out that he made one small specific point…"

"Oh ok fair enough. Bloomfield moving to Centre and Wing is promising since we have Iongi so Cyrus can find a spot somewhere else and have time to develop in those spots.
Rokosuka getting some Flegg time as well would help. Wouldn't surprise me if…"

Well GC could be getting Taulagi. I would prefer him but seems Ryles prefers cheaper Wingers or only paying one Winger.
No - he just likes cheap 😂😂😂
Straight out of the Bellamy squad plan post salary cap disaster.
Get a solid player for the centres who you think can learn your defensive system and is relatively cheap so you can spend the cap on spine players.
They then turn into players others want to buy.
Good point
Walker prime example, imagine if Warriors kept him when Metcalf got hurt? They would have gone deeper into the finals.
Now all we need is Bellamy as coach and the people who run the storm to run Parramatta and we will be on our way .
😂😂😂 😳
Spot on Badger. Ryles will get his defence in order or he won't be playing. Kelly is being underestimated. He can be excellent but inconsistent.
