According to Weidler, Josh Addo-Carr has booked himself into a rehabilitation clinic on the Central Coast.
What does this mean?
An admission of guilt?
Well it looks like the club and Josh have come to an arrangement in the admission Josh needs help, and unlike when he was caught previously at the dogs, it seems this time he's gotten on the front foot to try and save his career
The life and times of being a Parramatta Eels supporter. We can't stand for this bs
Also, The Chinese car maker JAC have dumped Joash as an ambassador for the company.

I'd say it's more an attempt at being seen as a "victim" of drugs rather than an criminal offender
Others have done worse, yet are still playing nrl.
I agree with this after taking afew days to think on it. There have been alot worse who continued to play NRL. Some coke in the off season isnt as bad as say Dyl Brown admitting to sexual assult in my opinion. And no one on here called for his head. I say suspend him and make him attend rehab. Get another 2 years from him. Can move on at the end of 2028.
Ryles is pretty brutal once trust is broken. Already dumped guys like Lomax brown Joash once the trust is broken. He gave Ado Carr a 2nd chance to make his career right and he basically threw it back in Ryles face. I don't like ado chances. Most likely he'll be sacked and Ryles will use the cap space on someone who can help next season
I think its extremely unlikely he puts on an eels jersey again. I wouldn't even put Poppa's fake pawn shop coins on it.
I agree, but does Parra have faith they can sign someone for 2027 who will have the same impact on the team? Media is saying Ryles is already under pressure heading into 2027. Can he afford to drop a rep quality winger and replace him with who? I think this will play out differently to the Dogs. Dogs let him go because he was on $800K and they wanted to sign players. We are already short on outside backs and have shown we cannot sign anyone of value.
Though if he gets 12 weeks suspension, it might not matter as Ryles may have lost enough games where the mountain is too high to climb to make finals.
He could get 3-4 games off that, going into rehab quickly helps that, but even then 8-9 weeks out, Ryles might be already in too much trouble that JAC's presence does nothing for.
And then also how can you trust him, he could do it again at any time and ruin your season again. Ryles gave him a chance and he burnt it. Rather grab a guy like Sloan who wants to be in the nrl and make something of himself
I don't think we can carry a guy on 700k who isn't helping the team like Matterson again, it just puts you on the back foot immediately. If ado Carr gets a 12 game suspension he's basically useless to Ryles. The only way forward is to terminate his deal and try grab Sloan as quickly as possible.
This is why Parra's future hinges on an excellent CEO. Another CEO who doesn't know how to build a successful NRL club (on the field) and it will be more of the same mediocre performances and signings. We are at the crossroads - which way will the board direct the club now?
