Jordan Plath-Appernatly one of the best hookers out of qld in the younger grades and younger brother of max Plath, has signed with the eels for next year and beyond.Very exciting stuff.
It was reported on Facebook by a dolphins page and Jordan's mum commented on it confirming it's true.

Do we need another hooker?
Coinakis is gone and no guarantee R Smith stays beyond his current deal. Trey-Stewart only 19 this year.
Ah ok, makes sense then I guess, thanks mate.
His for lower grades.still long way from first grade so dosent hurt and yes we prob do need another hooker if Ryley smith dosent get resigned or is used in a diffrent position next year.
He is 24 next year so he will be in NSW Cup.
Ooft tf had no idea🤣even better he has good wraps on him
Think good chance Smith is elsewhere come 2028, so if Plath can kick on as a #2 Hooker, even better.
Yeah as EA said, it wouldn't hurt. Smith more likely starts the year and plays most of it. Edwards would be at 13 in Cup you'd imagine so yeah having another Hooker in Cup doesn't hurt.
Maybe he can convince max to come also
Now that would be great
