Joey Manu

Personally, I'm not too bothered that Galvin doesn't want to play for the club he grew up supporting, his true colours have come through and all the best to him at the bullflops.

Our club is on the way up, there have been so many positives over the past month to suggest that we are not as bad as many think we are. If we can manage to keep our full strength team on the park, this team will go a long long way in this competition. The only thing Galvin ads to the bulldogs is headaches and internal dramas.

Regardless, Joey Manu has recently posted that his time in Japanese Rugby has come to an end, I see him as the perfect replacement for Dylbro. I know we have a set of clowns in head office, however is there any chance that he's got any connections to Ryles from his time at the chooks? This could be the plan all along, Galvin a smoke screen. Who knows??

I hope he is in consideration, I would be throwing the kitchen sink and then some to bring him to the Eels, imagine someone like Manu playing along side Moses, Iongi and Lomax.

  • MON couldn't organise a root in a brothel with his pockets full of cash

    • Gold

  • He's not a good 6

  • No he's overrated IMO. Pass.

  • Throw the book at him

  • Love him to come to us as a centre

  • I'd love Manu as left centre, not a half. Really don't want him in the halves.

Next to Addo Carr? Hell yeah.

  • Man is a hog. He gets great numbers at the back but doesn't have much affect on the most important one which is the score board. He is only a centre IMO.

  • two chances BUCKLEYS and NONE....if that dope MON couldnt get a 19 year old rookie with the Origin half next to him.  Do you think that fwit can take on Uncle Nick comn .............ffs

  • Get him as a centre or somewhere in the team!
That x-factor to our side would be great.

"I hate to break the news to you but that is exactly when you should be buying. There is no worse time to buy than when something has peaked and you have to pay top dollar for it. We got JAC for considerably less than what he was on at the dogs.…"

"Totally agree. From what I've seen clubs can talk to agents/players but they can't put an official contract in front of them. That whole Galvin situation was happening behind the scenes both with us and the dogs. I'd definitely be on the phone to…"
