  • Not fussed on missing out on milky.

Wouldn't be surprised if the suli and falou rumours are true. Seeing this 1 was supposed to be strong mail. We may get both before june 30th.

    I guess it's somewhat positive?

Absolutely disgraceful could only get 1 deal done b4 June 30th with our injury toll.

  • It was the Retention & Recruitment Experts going on about Jenkins, and now he has extended wth Panthers, apparently the club is to be impugned for not signing a sure thing? The absurdity of speculating on signings then impugning the club for not finishing a 'sure thing' is next level self-fulfilling prophecy

    • Speaking of R and R experts, where's chief? There's no evidence to suggest he's been on the site for 24 hours. Is a search and rescue mission needed?

      • Closing in on 48 hours, time to lodge a missing person report.

        • Adam it's actually worrying. This blog would have been prime Chief.

    • I think we have great talent in what we have our pack

Kitione, Teacun Brown, Ryda Talagi, Sam Tuivati, Jackson Konia, Petrus. But I reckon put Spencer with them and also hopgood could really do some damage. I reckon we're missing a six and some talent in the backs. Our forwards seem set probably why we're aren't spending much on big names and hence why they wanted Keaon so badly.

We can complain how bad our recruitment is, and yes it's been bad but we are recruiting in the worse time possible. We aren't winning on field, there is two new other teams with more cap space than us, we don't even have TPAs to put in place or a major sponsorship to get players over the line. We can blame R&R team as much as we like but we have to admit it's the the brand of selling Parramatta the 40 year drought that keeps calling. To get players to come here we need to start winning on field and also make some professional moves in the front office with changing football management like head of recruitment etc.

We have missed 5-6 signings and also losing plenty of young talent over the years with the same recruitment team. It's a factor of when is enough enough. Reason why we aren't performing on field is because the front office is not holding those in charge accountable for why we aren't moving up and why we aren't attracting the big names. It starts with recruiting a big name to that R&R team then you can work ways in out who'll suit us and who'll go and who'll be Mitchell Moses replacement. At this rate the club is not doing anything to benefit the club's future or even the clubs needs and wants now. If we can't sort that out then we cannot be a competitive team until when.

Jenkins is a disaster signing for us, yes he's a try scorer freak but we need balance around the youth. You need to recruit a tago, Bostock, Burton, Spencer maybe even look in to rugby 7s or check some Bronco juniors or Penrith just something that will add another dimension to our team than just basic fundamentals of rugby league. In order to create a star studded team from scratch you need to look into other codes, Teams juniors, touch football and also personality skills test to see if they can add to what we can build here. Right now we have a group of just one dimensional fundamental rugby players maybe Iongi and Moses and Even Fox can play outside of that and TDS. Other than that it'd be cool to recruit a Moses Leo, or a Marky Mark type player. Recruitment should be easy for us yet we keep recruiting the has beens that add nothing to our club.

  • To'o will go to png. You can blame Jenkins for staying, the last time he left to a team that was way lower on the ladder it almost derailed his career

    • I have a lot of mates that are Penrith supporters they are happy they kept Jenkins over To'o. Mind boggling. They are also starting a movement to get ryda to Penrith. Saying parramatta is a dead end team and his career won't go anywhere. Talk about sore winners.

  • There's no other way about it our club has to accept we need to offer massive overs to get a couple of high profile experienced players in to mix in with Moses and our extremely young team...else we bugger all of their futures  up  too :(

maybe we just don't offer significant overs full stop and don't believe we ought to haha

afterall, the way we handled Dylan's exit deal asking him to remove clauses but not willing to top up by even a slight bit so that he would've stayed, reeked of a total stuff up and the misguided idea of players 'want to play for us' for the love of our club. There ain't no such thing anymore! Moses removed his clauses and got a top up even.

fork up as much as it takes for a couple of significant others, build with our youngins and get us back on track. At least it'll help somewhat in making us look like a serious option to others.

"Agree with all this....I would like to see an objective review of the game and privately present to the refs admin. Then somebody should leak it, so it doesn't seem to be leaked by Parra."
