      • If you offer a player good money, better chances they take it.

      • We are going nowhere, it's sad to admit. But nothing will change until front office makes changes.

  • Nothing to do with recruitment, it's called loyalty. Penrith resurrected his career, this is his payback.

    • Explain all the other misses? Galvin, Keaon, Wilson etc

Our recruitment team is a disgrace and if they can't land Jesse McLean from this then they deserve to be sacked

      • This is a miss though to be fair as well he is staying at the best club in the comp. I think many would do that.

But you are also right, McLean's spot is now blocked further. If you cannot convince him to get out and come over for regular FG, pack her up.

        • Considering how many players have left Penrith over the past few years , it would seem most wouldn't .

      • He can't. Two types of fans realistic ones and the ones when you get flogged 50-6 they at least they tried.

      • Galvin was NEVER coming. Kean, why would you pay a million plus for him, I'm glad we didn't get him. As for Wilson, like LB stated, he is dumb. I can't believe so many are losing their shit over missing out on Wilson and Jenkins, Wilson is a reserve graders, and any winger would look good on the end of the Panthers backline.

        • Michael, Galvin was considering us. I know that. His family were pushing him to go to Parramatta but Luke Vella and Ciraldo pitch for him being 7 got him to Dogs. He considered us.

Keaon on the other hand heard we had an meeting, but only offered a short deal, but it was mentioned not tabled. So technically could say we didn't even offer a deal. Now i know you and i disagree with Keaon but that deal i think is being overplayed how much we went for him. Personally i think we should have as his dad said he would have taken a reasonable offer.

As for Jenkins, reason i and a few others are disheartened is not Jenkins himself, it is he is the best of what is left, discounting Taulagi as he seems odds on for Easts. I am a massive advocate of not signing for the sake of signing. Jenkins would not of been that as you are getting quality with good age and skills. But also, i would have chosen Taulagi over Jenkins too.

As for Wilson, he needs to sack his managment. They have not steered him well at all. Imagine if he came to Parramatta in 2024? He would have played every game and in 2025 as well.

"I remember watching him play 1st grade a while back and he reminded me of a slightly better version of Jake Tago. He is a different build to his brother Casey, much shorter and doesn't seem to be as athletic. Sua F' temu version.
