Good on Jenkins for showing loyalty to the club that took a leap of faith in him. We've done the same with many of our youngsters and hopefully it will be returned some day soon.
Recruitment you have to set these moves up not jump onboard 2-3 months out.
This is why we need another team builder who understands how this shit works.
I don't think we need players I think we need a recruitment specialist who has an over arching plan.It seemingly doesn't exist at Parra shit we are having issues getting Jnr Paulo to finish his career at his junior club..I've got a real sneaking suspicion one of these expansion clubs is going to offer a Junior a 2-3 year retirement gift to finish his career.
Milky good for him like many have mentioned showing club loyalty he knows where his breads buttered.I suspect old mate at Penrith Matt Cameron has a plan regardless of who there losing.Undoubtedly if they lose a lot of that older talent a hitlist will be being formed and probably has been in the background stewing for a couple of years.
Coryn, we even haven't managed to sign our young gun Tuivati long term when it was plain obvious after a coupla games he is a dead set keeper :( And you you say the length of time it's taking to sign Junior up on his last deal is another tell tale, from a club with basically no others props ha!
For me Ryley is another we really should re-sign too he is a hooker at our disposal for footy gods sake!
Wonder how telling it is how we seem to be making a meal of re-signing our very own long termers or letting them walk as in Dylan's case this is, to wider nrl players and managers? Combined with our no clauses stand and suspect non allowing of TPAs and bottom of table position, doesn't exactly look delicious shifting to the good guys :(
Understand it would be very difficult to entice players from the Panthers system, so not throwing R&R under the bus on this one in isolation, but I feel many underestimate Jenkins as a player.
Being surrounded by good players & being in an elite system likely does make him a better player, but I find that such a strange 'criticism' of a player.
He's a very good player - good defender, brilliant in the air (great for Moses), his positioning & finishing is excellent, can play multiple positions & most importantly has elite speed which is so helpful in both attack and cover defence.
Jenkins would've been a sensational purpose.

Yeah everything about him was exactly what we needed :(
im surprised he wasn't called up to origin actually.
It was the Retention & Recruitment Experts going on about Jenkins, and now he has extended wth Panthers, apparently the club is to be impugned for not signing a sure thing? The absurdity of speculating on signings then impugning the club for not finishing a 'sure thing' is next level self-fulfilling prophecy

"There's no other way about it our club has to accept we need to offer massive overs to get a couple of high profile experienced players in to mix in with Moses and our extremely young team...else we bugger all of their futures up too :(

Simply to achieve a better performing football…"

Not fussed on missing out on milky.
Wouldn't be surprised if the suli and falou rumours are true. Seeing this 1 was supposed to be strong mail. We may get both before june 30th.
I guess it's somewhat positive?
Absolutely disgraceful could only get 1 deal done b4 June 30th with our injury toll.
