  • Well we at least beat clubs this time ahaha.

As for is JAC leaving, nah as we went for McLean too this year. We wanted another Winger to come in it seemed. Schiller signing i doubt has an implications to JAC. Might make the decision, if they were to move on, slightly easier as we have another body. But i doubt Schiller is JAC's replacement.

  • out of all depth players we sign him, what a joke.

    • You just said depth, what's wrong with that? He is not expected to start. PF101, guess what, all depth players are depth for a reason. May i ask which other option you would suggest? Bostock as a back-up to sit in Cup in case of an emergency?

Seems other clubs looked at him for depth too so not just us wanted him.

      • Shouldve signed Coats as depth, what is this club doing.

  • He has a lot of untapped potential,  if he can go a period injury free and find some consistency he could end up being a very popular buy.

    • I mean put it this way. More likely our NSW Cup Wingers are Simonsson and Schiller. If Kelly or JAC go down, Simonsson is first up. If Schiller is brought in to be a Wing/Centre development option with 33 NRL games experience as a break glass emergency option? Think it is a fair deal. If you signed him to start, of course that would be a concern.

      • Simo into the centres maybe? I see Samrani going to the bench due to his utility value and Simo being able to play centre, wing and fullback if needed.

  • It's not an either or recruitment. Our NSW Cup side's backline was terrible last year and we lacked any depth once we had a couple of injuries in first grade. Schiller is an NRL-experienced outside back who can provide some good depth. It doesn't mean JAC is gone. It would be of concern if Schiller was recruited with JAC out the door as it means we haven't built any further depth.

  • I like Schiller. I think he'll push for a top grade spot which is what Parramatta need

    • Agree decent player who needs an opportunity I think he will be good
