    • Christopher Petrus, granted we sign him long term, can be that option.

  • Oh goodie another Jnr upgrade around the corner.

  • Going to hard to compete with PNG.

Small clubs like us are going to be left behind soon.

If they put together a good squad it would be cool to see how he would go in a good team.

  • They could target much worse. He will be 32 when starting and by then the likes of Petrus, Koina, Talagi will be turning 21 and have some FG. Then kids like Polley will start to poke their nose in.

Williams I would even see as moving back to the bench after 2027. If Petrus kicks on with Su'A, Williams becomes a utility forward type perfect for the bench.

    • Petrus is 100% a beast and I believe he will definately play NRL. He is growing out of the teenager body to a mans body, filling out everywhere it is needed. If Parra dont lock him up long term we are should just close down the pathways system becuase isnt that the whole purpose, identify, develop, experience and hopefully prepared to play NRL.

      • Agreed

  • If Williams is contracted until 2027, how can png show interest or even.put in an offer?  Any other club that negotiates this far out is in breach of the rules

    • It's VLandys NRL Chiefy, the game where everything is made up and the points don't matter. 😁

"NRL won't fix it as they want PNG to be successful as it means the Australian government will continue to put money towards it meaning NRL get bucket loads from this franchise. "
