Good target for them but he'll be 32/33 in 2028. Prob not a huge deal for us

I'd assume guys like Tuaviti Kautoga take steps forward along with our other young talents. But yeah would like some decent props to lead them in middle who aren't 34
Yes Meeiks. Look at young Sam Tuivaiti. Remember him. Hes the prop the Eels have pinned their hopes on as being our starting prop for tge next 8 years, Yet he can also negotiate in November.
Do you and others still have faith that our so called jgreat nrs are in good hands with Mark o'neill steering the ship?
Forget about our younger guys because its Mark has zero track record of developing and keeping our younger guys
Well the tax free salaries are apparently capped at certain years so who knows how long they keep it up for. Plus for the tax free salaries players need to be living there full time. Some players would prefer keeping their family home in Aus, instead of spending the off-season living in PNG.
"At 31 he won't have many years left so I get why he'd take the cash free money. Luckily we ch ave a few edge forwards coming through that are 1-2 years away from debuting"
"PNG will win a comp before we do ill say in 15 years time they would of equalled our tally they will be able to buy a comp in the first few then reap rewards of local talent and NRL talent and NRL exceptions "
"Agree it will be 'dad's army' roster, just like when Gold Coast came into the comp. I guess they're hoping by the 10th year, there will be some PNG players ready to step into NRL. Those 8-10 year olds now aspiring to one day play NRL. Its a real…"
"This is why the recruitment group need to be in front of the game; we need to have some tough type players earmarked (with some nrl exp) and we will need more than Sua; Paulo will be gone i assume by 28 along with i assume Matto / Walker and now…"

You'd hope by 2028 that a couple of our younger guys are starting to step up and can replace Williams if he goes. Be sad to see him go though...

The png hype will last for about 5 years. Look at the titans everyone wanted to join them they had 5 good years then the thrill was gone.
As long as income stays tax free, PNG will thrive.

If we can get a gem second rower on the open market then idc.or guymer slims down and can take that spot
