They could target much worse. He will be 32 when starting and by then the likes of Petrus, Koina, Talagi will be turning 21 and have some FG. Then kids like Polley will start to poke their nose in.
Williams I would even see as moving back to the bench after 2027. If Petrus kicks on with Su'A, Williams becomes a utility forward type perfect for the bench.
Petrus is 100% a beast and I believe he will definately play NRL. He is growing out of the teenager body to a mans body, filling out everywhere it is needed. If Parra dont lock him up long term we are should just close down the pathways system becuase isnt that the whole purpose, identify, develop, experience and hopefully prepared to play NRL.
PT exactly as you say " isn't that the whole purpose, identify, develop, experience and hopefully prepared to play NRL." Especially at this crucial time, now more than at any other time! Not just Petrus either!

He is clearly a leader-type & likeable player at the club.
I wonder if he might fit into the 'Shaun Lane' category though, where…"
"My concern is how PVL is so attracted to US sport he will consider this idiotic conference system being floated around.
But it's funny how he is trying to get higher price yet is open to less games. The more games yearly the more money."

Petrus
Going to hard to compete with PNG.
Small clubs like us are going to be left behind soon.
If they put together a good squad it would be cool to see how he would go in a good team.
