Summary:
Jack de Belin, the Dragons' longest-serving current player, is set to leave the club at the end of the 2025 season to join the Parramatta Eels. The 34-year-old has agreed to a deal for 2026, with Parramatta holding an option for 2027. The contract is currently in the NRL’s 10-day cooling-off period.
De Belin, who has played 242 games, was close to becoming the most-capped Dragon in history. Despite being in talks for another contract extension, he will now reunite with former teammate Zac Lomax at the Eels. A mid-season switch before June 30 is unlikely due to the Dragons’ lack of forward depth.
A consistent performer, De Belin played every game last season and has not missed one this year. He is the last Dragons player remaining from the Wayne Bennett era.
His departure comes amid a broader roster overhaul at the Dragons. Tyrell Sloan, Blake Lawrie, and Mikaele Ravalawa may also leave, while several forwards, including David Klemmer and Michael Molo, are off-contract.

How can you possibly say Da Silva is going to be a far better 9. I have been around this game for a long time and that is the dumbest statement I have ever heard! You cannot make statements about kids like that. Gould was saying all these wonderful things about Reed Mahoney, 3 months later he is on the scrap heap. Who 's to say that Galvin is going to be the world beater, Talagi is another one with rediculous wraps on them....these RL Journalists have less experience in these ideas and concepts than Merkins has on this site.
Unfortunately we have youngsters on these sites thinking they know what the journalists say is knowledgable. You would not piss on most of them.
He basically is in that same bracket with Galvin Talagi, they have huge wraps on the them but of course they have to actually reach that potential. Ryles can probably bring that out of him. Having 2 good 9s is better then 1. Ryley smith has been highly impressive but
garbage-in/garbage-out
Hope this is true be a good buy aa someone said he miss 2 year so
He be still a good buy
Extending Iongi is absolutely great news. Good to see the club is in the front foot.
Where did you get that?
Is this how we are shaping up?
Bit of a theme going on here , Wonder what Michael De Vere is doing ?
The NDIS Eels are taking shape.
