Eels Prop forward Issac Jim, 198cm 120kgs and only 19 , is set to make his debut for the Parramatta Nsw cup side in the Semi finals this weekend. The James Fisher Harris look alike is part of a trio of future NRL giants, that will no doubt propel Eels forward stocks moving forward.
Already, 191cm, 117 kg Sam Tuivaiti (20) has shown that he will be a mainstay in our NRL team, and then there's Australian Schoolboys prop Ryda Tualagi, another young giant ony 18, and has already debut against men in Cup.
The future looks very good in the Prop position for the Eels. I think that is the reason Ryles has purchased the experience of Jack Debelin who can take that space for the next year or two and offer these great prospects his knowledge and football nouse, and by then all three will most likely feature in our NRL team.
Also, Davvy Moale for around 350k would be a good pick up aswell. Those in the know have mentioned his athleticism and potential moving forward.
I think if we get Moale, that would wrap up our forward signings for 2026, with another outside back signing most likely, especially if Simmonson leaves.

Do you know when Popo is returning from injury?
Sometimes a player relies on size and strength in juniors and looks a prospect only to get found out as others catch up in size and attacking players start to target them with defensive decisions or testing their lateral movement with speed.
Putting him in cup doesn't necessarily mean he is ready for it on permanent basis but may be a test to see if can step up. It may also be a lesson for him that he can no longer rely on size alone.
Some coaches push players up a grade or age group to show them how far they have to go but are not meeting the commitment or training levels needed to reach that next level.
There have been plenty of players like this written off by clubs only to go elsewhere, correct their attitude and develop better then more highly rated juniors. Hopefully he can develop skills and mobility to go with his size but I trust those those who regularly watch the juniors over positive stories and spin like this usually written by managers, friends or family. Dropping a name like JFH makes me think it is a managers dribble to generate attention.
