Eels Prop forward Issac Jim, 198cm 120kgs and only 19 , is set to make his debut for the Parramatta Nsw cup side in the Semi finals this weekend.  The James Fisher Harris look alike is part of a trio of future NRL giants, that will no doubt propel Eels forward stocks moving forward.

Already, 191cm, 117 kg Sam Tuivaiti (20) has  shown that he will be a mainstay in our NRL team, and then there's Australian Schoolboys prop Ryda Tualagi,  another young giant ony 18, and has already debut against men in Cup.

The future looks very good in the Prop position for the Eels. I think that is the reason Ryles has purchased the experience  of Jack Debelin who can take that space for the next year or two and offer these great prospects his knowledge and football nouse, and by then all three will most likely feature in our NRL team.

Also, Davvy Moale for around 350k would be a good pick up aswell. Those in the know have mentioned his athleticism and  potential moving forward.

I think if we get Moale, that would wrap up our forward signings for 2026, with another outside back signing most likely, especially if Simmonson leaves.

      • Lincoln was injured during the school boy games so didn't make the austtalian school boy team which was expected since he made it last year. He will start in SG ball again next year. No rush for him. He is only 18 and a skinny boy

    • I don't rate him either EA. He is very tall and reasonably fast but lacks in every other area, The real talent in that age group (though a year younger) is Ryda Talagi. Shorter than Jim, but stronger, more mobile and more skilled.

      • You not rating him means Issac Jim will probably be an Eels great haha cant wait to see him debut.

        • I don't rate most youngsters, because most of them go nowhere. To be fair to Isaac Jim, playing reserve grade at all is better than most players ever achieve and playing reserve grade at 19 is a good sign of potential. I just don't see it with this one. I'm surprised he was picked and I can only think the NSW Cup side is lacking some size with Greig unavailable. Parker, Mataele and Keir is a small pack.

          • I also feel they don't want to weaken their JF team too much so they filled the last cup spot with a reserve JF player that will play minimal minutes. Jim was not even being selected recently in JF.

            • Well predicted. Jim played zero minutes.

          • Looks like Caylo and Jason Ryles see something you don't Pou.

            • No they don't Mick. EA had the right of it. Jim was selected on the NSW Cup bench with the intent to play minimal (in this case zero) minutes, because they had to pick 17 players and they didn't want to weaken the Flegg team.

      • Jim for be has minimal acceleration, poor lateral movement and struggles with repeat efforts. He may have a future but he can't be relying on his size anymore like he did in SG ball. He doesn't seem to be an athletic bloke to me either.
