Greetings all! I'm new to this site and this is my 1st post. Love him or hate him, Jarome Luai's combination with Mitch Moses for NSW was electric. Imagine those two being our halves combination.

no mate, just an idea
Welcome to the madhouse, Joeyboyz.
I agree, Luai is worth going after as a long-term solution, notwithstanding the issues already raised by others (dosh, incentives, Kingdom Keys, losing face etc).
The re-build culture Ryles and the club is driving — The Kaizen Way — could appeal to him.
Probably a long shot, but it's a strange game.
PS: Dogs will no doubt find a way to squeeze him in between Burton and Galvin.
I can't see Dogs trying to put Luai anywhere near Galvin. That would be insane after an obvious falling out. That's before we get ot the insanity of trying to squeeze 3 into 2, or three 5/8's into a 7 and 6.
Luai would only work at the Eels if he said "I don't need the keys to the team"
Well he'd get the keys to the team all but what, 7 games a season ?
G'day mate. I reckon he'd fit right in with what Ryles is building.
No way is he coming to us. There's far too many whiteys for him to get rid of at Parramatta.
No.
Would be a great asset, he a quality player & him & Moses dis a great job.
Agreed
I don't think there's any team who have two halves over the 1.1 million mark, so i very much doubt we'll be spending 25% of our cap on halves.
What we really need is someone who can take pressure of Mitch in the kicking department, who's a good defender and has some pace.
The problem being Mitch needs be playing at least 20 games and must retire from all rep football. If he doesn't then i think it's worth going after a big name like Luai.
