Greetings all! I'm new to this site and this is my 1st post. Love him or hate him, Jarome Luai's combination with Mitch Moses for NSW was electric. Imagine those two being our halves combination.

True, but in my opinion he's overpaid. 650k for an inexperienced rookie is a lot. I bet Ryley Smith is on a lot less.
Mate his the player that Ryles would love, Ryles plays fast football oh guess who else plays fast and can get the ball too moses in no time. Thats right Luai, he'll open so much space for Fox. With Tallyn and Smith i can i see us just going set for set so fast that'd make us unstopplable with Luai in the squad. He is worth it, never say no to a 4x winner.
I think so too, but the price tag is a worry.
4 premierships already on 1.2 a year for the next 4-5 I don't think he leaves the Tigers either, well if he does and some stupid team wants to cough up more in years and per season salary then maybe.Luai will never carry or be part of team like he was at Riff that's a lightning strike right place at the right time he's just lucky and now he's cashing in with the Tigers.
When you look at it that way, 1.2 is a lot. I reckon he has more in him than what he's showing at the tigers. Under Ryles he'd be a different/better player in my opinion.
no, just no
Awful idea
Luai or Katoa at the EELS is what we need as a 5/8 replacement of Dylan Brown.
JR needs to get either one over ASAP as we do know these days contracts mean nothing.
Laui for me would be better as he & moses geled well in origin last year.
Moses is a different player to clearly so luai would be able to run his own show when needed.
oh the west tigers need to fold have half there territoy be taken by the eels & the other half by the dogs
No I personally can't stand the guy. Overrated as hell and just his overall personality and demeanor is off.
There are a couple things to consider.
First, his asking price. Could we get him for a price we'd be happy with and allow us to build a squad and retain players we need to.
Second is whether he fits the culture Ryles is trying to build. Ryles is setting the expectation you play for the badge. If you don't, you're out the door.
Third is how he would work with Moses. We saw the pair perform well in Origin last year. But 2 games is a lot different to the week-to-week grind of NRL. Luai has previously stated he wants to be the man and that's why he left Penrith. I don't think he'd want to be second fiddle to Moses until Mitch retires.
I just don't think Luai is the type of player we'd be going after. I'd be hesitant to go after a guy who ditches a club barely a year after signing with them.
